We’re based in the UK and USA and our 10 studios in Central London are a centre of excellence. Key Responsibilities

Day to day you will:

  • Train on the international Dubbing work, grow within the engineering
    department and contribute to offering an outstanding service to our
    clients.
  • Help setup and prep for studio sessions.
  • Help with technical maintenance and backups.
  • Oversee system updates and IT trouble-shooting.
  • Assist with the processing of audio and video files.
  • Process and edit audio for TV, radio, audiobooks and more.
  • Share tips and tricks with other engineers - no matter how long we’ve been
    doing this, we’re always learning!
  • Attend occasional out of hours meetings and events, including the
    monthly engineers and company wide team meetings.
  • Help support general building maintenance tasks from time to time.

Essential Requirements  

  • A knowledge of ProTools is a must – the interview process may include a
    simple Protools practical.
  • Attention to detail is key, being organised is paramount.
  • You're presentable with great communication skills - good email and
    phone manners are crucial.
  • You need to be polite, calm and open to learning new things.
  • A positive, can-do attitude!
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • A good working knowledge of Apple operating systems and hardware.

Qualifications and Experience

  • This job is ideal for a university graduate with some industry experience -
    although no degree is necessary.
  • You might have worked in ‘Transfer’ or as a ‘Runner’ at another post facility
    and be longing for some career progression.
  • Good work experience and runner duties on your CV would be an
    advantage although not essential.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with other software including Google GSuite
  • Fluency in other languages
  • A knowledge of video file formats and frame-rates
  • Understanding of loudness tech specs.
  • An understanding of networks, IP and servers
     

Working Hours / Requirements

This is a full time role and would be based 5 days a week at our head office on Tottenham Court Road, London. Occasional working from home may be an option depending on your setup.


9-6pm with flexibility for early starts and evening work where required.

 

Salary And Benefits

  • We are committed to staying in-line with the London living wage. The salary of this role is £27,500, plus benefits.
  • 25 days holiday plus standard bank holidays for England, and 3 extra days between Christmas and New Year when the business is closed (total of 28 days plus public holidays).
